Illinois Governor, Chicago Mobster, Rod Blagojevich

Illinois Governor, Chicago Gangster, Rod Blagojevich; was released today after cutting a Deal with the judge to go easy on him. That is, that Governor Rod Blagojevich would go easy on the judge. Which, when dealing with Chicago politics, who knows if the judge is straight, or just as corrupt as the rest of that Filthy City Of Dirty Rats?

And in deed the judge (obviously in on the take), released Governor Rod Blagojevich on his own recognizance after his best friend Barack Obama posted bail.

The Illinois Governor, Gangsta, Mobster, Con-man, Psychopath, Abuser of the public trust, and all around "typical" Illinois resident; was taken from his bed and arrested Tuesday after prosecutors alleged he was caught on wiretaps audaciously scheming to sell Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat for Cash, or at least a job for himself in the new administration.

According NewsOK, The charges do not identify by name any of the political figures under consideration for the Senate seat, referring to them only as "Candidate 1," ''Candidate 2," and so on. However, those being considered for the post include: Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett, Reps. Jesse Jackson Jr., Danny Davis, Jan Schakowsky and Luis Gutierrez; Illinois Senate President Emil Jones; and Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Director Tammy Duckworth.

Tammy Duckworth. What an interestingly odd name.
So I Googled her, and this is what I found.

* Wikipedia- director of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, Iraq War veteran whose severe combat wounds cost her both of her legs and damaged her right arm. She continues to serve as a Major in the Illinois Army National Guard and is married to Major Bryan W. Bowlsbey who is also an Iraq War Veteran and serves in the Illinois Army National Guard..

WOW!!! Impressive. And obviously not one to be involved in any kind of political scandal. But then I found this...

Suntimes- Nov 11, 2008 ... President-elect Barack Obama visited the Bronze Soldiers Memorial at Soldier Field this morning with Tammy Duckworth at his side. ...

Now I don't know, maybe it's just a coincidence. Seeing as how they both live in the same state and all. But one thing is for sure, until all the facts come out, EVERYBODY is under suspicion.

GM Auto Maker Bail-Out Coming!

"Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said on Friday he "plans to press forward" with emergency aid to automakers..." "Leaders in the House of Representatives have been working to craft legislation that would allow the Treasury Department to extend emergency assistance to Detroit under its ongoing corporate rescue initiative.

In return, the government likely would take an equity stake in the companies and impose conditions, including limits on executive compensation."

Essentially what this means is that the United States Federal Government is about to Take-Over the US Auto Industry just as it did the American Banking system with the now infamous $750 Billion dollar Bail-Out package. Which, was "suppose to" purchase the bad loans banks had made, but instead was used to Buy the banks themselves through stock purchasing.

Why was it decided to "Buy the Bank" instead of the bank's bad loans/paper? Because in the larger scheme of things, "if you own the bank, you own the paper". And by taking over the bank, not only does the US Gov. now own the bank, but the mortgage on Your House as well!

So is this something we should worry about?

Take a look at the last statement in the quote above...

now let's take that statement and do a little word substitution taking into account that some poor unfortunate homeowner got behind on their mortgage, and also needed a bail out...

"In return, the government likely would take an equity stake in the Home and impose conditions, including limits on homeowners rights."

Now THAT'S SCARY!!!
Except for one thing. Since, at this point, the gov. will Already own an equity share in your mortgage as it already owns the bank. The above "revised" statement, really doesn't mean that much should you fall behind on your payments and need help. So now let's take it one step further and say...

"In return, the government likely would take an equity stake in the HomeOwner, and impose conditions including limits on the homeowner's freedom."

Ok Laugh! But before you do, you should know that this is Exactly how the USSR controlled it's economy, and it's people. There is one other factor that has yet to be established in the "complete" communist conversion of the United States. And that is the taking over of religion. However, as the "Unitarian Universalism" religion has already been established and adopted by both the United Nations and the World Court. The only thing left is it's implementation.

FoxNews WASHINGTON — Unqualified home buyers were not the only ones who benefitted from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank’s efforts to deregulate Fannie Mae throughout the 1990s.

So did Frank’s partner, a Fannie Mae executive at the forefront of the agency’s push to relax lending restrictions.

Now that Fannie Mae is at the epicenter of a financial meltdown that threatens the U.S. economy, some are raising new questions about Frank's relationship with Herb Moses, who was Fannie’s assistant director for product initiatives. Moses worked at the government-sponsored enterprise from 1991 to 1998, while Frank was on the House Banking Committee, which had jurisdiction over Fannie.

Both Frank and Moses assured the Wall Street Journal in 1992 that they took pains to avoid any conflicts of interest. Critics, however, remain skeptical.

The US House of Representatives has voted by 263-171 in favour of a $700bn (£380bn) plan to rescue the US financial sector. The 263-171 vote was the second in a week, following its shock rejection of an earlier version on Monday.

The package is aimed at buying up the bad debts of failing financial institutions on Wall Street.US President George W Bush praised lawmakers for their "spirit of co-operation" before signing the bill into law later on Friday.

The House adopted the new version after the Senate added about $100bn in new tax breaks to win Republican votes.

TrashDispatch: Note the "$700bn (£380bn)" reference in the BBC news report above. For those of you who do not understand dollar valuations, it means that the British Pound is worth Twice as much as the U S Dollar. Or rather, that the U S Dollar is worth Half as much as the British Pound.

That valuation is likely to Drop another 15-25% when the markets open on Monday however, as the US Gov is having to Print those extra bills to keep it's economy afloat. Meaning, it will take even More U S Dollars to buy British Pounds.

The truly amazing thing however, is that this bill is suppose to help people Borrow money when, people borrowing money, is the reason people are in trouble in the first place. In deed the "Bail-Out" will do nothing more than to help people get More in debt.

Vanity Fair magazine, in what Disney has called a Vanity Fair publicity stunt, published some rather provocative photos of the Disney Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus apparently Nude, wrapped only in a blanket, …and with Daddy Watching!

The Pics, have caused a Firestorm of controversy and Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus herself, to apologize for her “mistake”, in a statement to her fans saying;

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

“I apologise to my fans who I care so deeply about,”

But;

The Disney Channel, which airs hit show Hannah Montana, accused the magazine of trying to manipulate the young star.

“A situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines,” said a statement released by Disney.

But in a statement to US TV show Entertainment Tonight, Vanity Fair defended itself.

“Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day,” it said. -BBCNews

Nevertheless, Miley Cyrus being at the center of the Scandal, further stated;

“I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect,” she said.

“Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life’s journey.”

TrashDispatch! Miley, you have just committed yourself to your second mistake! You trusted your “support team”, your parents (who were there), and dear ol’ Daddy to start with, Remember???

Even Elizabeth Hasselbeck of the TV show “The View” spoke the Truth when she said; ” Miley’s only 15 yr old. It’s up to her Parents, to protect her.”

But your Daddy FAILED you, Miley! And he will fail you again and again as to him, “Exploitation”, is the name of the game. And it doesn’t even matter -to him- who you exploit. Yourself, another song writer’s song, or even his own daughter. Whatever it takes, to make that buck, That’s what he’s going to do.

So, Miley! REMEMBER!!!

TAMPA, Fla. — Stephanie Ragusa, a 28-year-old middle school teacher in Tampa, Fla., has been arrested for a second time, accused of having a sexual relationship with “another” underage student.

She was first arrested on March 13 and charged with five counts of lewd and lascivious battery for having sex (at least three times) with a then 14-year-old boy from January 2007 to May 2007.

On Tuesday, Ragusa was arrested Again, charged with two More counts of sex with a minor, and one More count of lewd and lascivious battery stemming from an alleged relationship with a 15-year-old.

Ah, but it gets better (or worse), as Stephanie Ragusa, was but the First of Three teachers arrested and charged with having sex with male students.

In deed within two weeks following that arrest, high school honors English teacher Mary Jo Spack, age 45, was also arrested. She is accused of meeting a 17- and an 18-year-old student at a liquor store and leading them to a motel room, where more students allegedly joined the party.

And on Monday night, substitute teacher Lisa Marinelli, age 40, a married mother of two, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and charged with unlawful sex with a minor. The 17-year-old victim told detectives he had sex with Marinelli 10 times. Authorities said they believe the boy.

“There’s phone records, the text messages, the underwear, their statements,” said Pasco County sheriff’s detective Michelle March.

Karen Duncan a therapist who specializes in treating sexually abused women and children said she believes it’s not that female teachers are abusing their students more frequently, but that we are only becoming more aware of it.

“That the cultural belief, you know, that boys can’t be victims, therefore females can’t be offenders, has been starting to be challenged (more) now than it was 30 years ago,” she said.

USDA orders nation’s largest beef recall

LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Sunday ordered the recall of 143 million pounds of frozen beef from a California slaughterhouse, the subject of an animal-abuse investigation, that provided meat to school lunch programs.

Officials said it was the largest beef recall in the United States, surpassing a 1999 ban of 35 million pounds of ready-to-eat meats. No illnesses have been linked to the newly recalled meat, and officials said the health threat was likely small.

The recall will affect beef products dating to Feb. 1, 2006, that came from Chino-based Westland/Hallmark Meat Co., the federal agency said.

Secretary of Agriculture Ed Schafer said his department has evidence that Westland did not routinely contact its veterinarian when cattle became non-ambulatory after passing inspection, violating health regulations.

“Because the cattle did not receive complete and proper inspection, Food Safety and Inspection Service has determined them to be unfit for human food and the company is conducting a recall,” Schafer said in a statement.

Tiger Attack at San Francisco Zoo could increase attendence

Trash Dispatch: Incredible but true, the recent Tiger Attack at the San Francisco Zoo could increase Zoo attendance nation wide. The AP reports;

Previous incidents haven't hurt attendance elsewhere

"Attendance at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans wasn't hurt in the weeks after a walkway collapsed and 10 people fell into a 400,000-gallon shark tank in 2002, spokeswoman Melissa Lee said."I would say certainly interest spiked," Lee said. "There's always a bit of morbid curiosity of people wanting to see where an accident took place." "

But also that;

In March 2004, a 340-pound gorilla named Jabari escaped the Dallas Zoo, went on a 40-minute rampage through a forest and attacked four people, including a toddler, before officers shot it to death. ...

... The zoo reopened the day after the attacks, with the gorilla habitat closed, and officials offered free admission to draw visitors back, Eckert said.

"We found that people were actually quite understanding," she said, citing a public opinion study conducted by the zoo shortly before the habitat reopened. "People, if anything, thought maybe we needed more money or something."

Except for the fact that Winter has beset most of the country, nation wide zoo attendance might well have increased, as merely speaking the word Zoo, invokes all kinds of Dreams of Wonder and Fantasy. "Why, I think I might just go to the Zoo myself. C-ya."

But seriously folks! Man-eating Tigers, Gorillas Tearing people in half, and Bears devouring their trainers, are all good draws for the zoo. And the longer the attacks are talked about in the news, the more it's on the peoples minds. Hence, attendance increases nation wide (when and where weather allows).

It is therefore the opinion of the Trash Dispatch, that we should "Fix the Tiger Pit, and make it Deeper. *But not too deep! After all, a visit to the Zoo just got a whole lot more Exciting!"
