Trash Dispatch: Republican Senator John Warner announced today that he is leaving public service, and Thank God for it!
Note that this post includes the label "Adultery, Treason, and Traitors". Well, I don't know if Senator John Warner ever committed adultery, but then again, who in the government hasn't? Especially among the "Holier than Thou" Republicans, who, were only recently scandalized by Republican Senator Larry Craig's toilet trouble.
But let's not mince words here. Senator John Warner has been a Pain in the Republicans toilet stained ass, ever since he "by chance", he was nominated by the GOP in 1978 after the GOP's front runner "Richard Obenshain" was killed in a plane crash. Oh but that was just the beginning as the Republicans were late to find that "Republican" Senator John Warner, wasn't a Republican at all, but a Democrat! (as indicated by his voting record.) And his opposition to the war in Iraq, AFTER, he had voted FOR it. (much like Democratic Senator John Carry was for it, befor he was against it.)
In deed, after a recent trip to Iraq, Senator Warner said President Bush should start bringing some troops home by Christmas. If Bush refused, Warner said, he would consider backing anti-war legislation. Again, this comes after he had originally voted FOR the war. Which is to say, both Senators John Carry and John Warner are "for" it, as long as "it", is popular.
So to conclude, all I can say is, "GOOD Riddance!!!"
