Trash Dispatch: Nancy Pelosi and her Power Hungry Democrats, in an effort to undermine U.S. success, and under-Equip U.S Troops in Iraq; have Declared SHAME on the of nation Turkey for it's role in the 1915-23 Turkish-Armenian war which claimed the lives of 1.5million Armenians (approx) calling it "Genocide", in non-binding resolution bill passed on October 10 by the House Foreign Affairs Committee. (a committee that is chaired primarily by Democrats)
The Nancy Pelosi Democrats move to "Judgment" comes at a time when current relations with Turkey are already strained as they (Turkey), have already made things hard on themselves by allowing the United States the use of it's sovereign soil to supply our troops in Iraq. And while the Trash Dispatch notes Turkey's *Lack of support during the initial invasion of Iraq, it (the Trash Dispatch), also Respects the sacrifice Turkey has made in it's effort to allow the United States to support it's troops in Iraq. In deed, though Turkey is not "actively" involved in Iraq, it is through their "grace", that American Troops have what supplies they do have without the "increased loss" of American Troops through "alternative" routes and methods.
But the issue here is not Turkey, not Iraq, not supplying the American Troops, and certainly not "genocide". Instead, what is at issue here, is the Conspiratorial Manipulation by Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats to so undermine the co-operation between Turkey and the United States that Turkey will have No Choice but to withdraw it's support, as what nation in it's right mind would support the efforts of another nation, to disrespect said nation?
Answer: NONE! And that is exactly what Nancy Pelosi and her Bigoted America Hating Democrats are counting on. Turkey, shamed by Democrats (in the Name of America and Americans), will have no choice but to renounce it's co-operation with the United States, which, will issue America's DEFEAT in Iraq, and the Democrats return to power. (note however, that their return to power is predicated on the downfall of other's (including the United States in Iraq as well as Iraq itself), as opposed to any rise to power via Meritorious, or even an Honorable deed.
Jed Babbin, editor of HumanEvents.com, speaks very prominently about Nancy Pelosi and her Democrats in his article "Pelosi’s Most Dangerous Ploy" (http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=22840), saying;

"According to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Incirlik Air Base near Adana, Turkey is the transshipment point for about 70% of all air cargo (including 33% of the fuel) going to supply US forces in Iraq. Included are about 95% of the new “MRAP” -- mine-resistant, ambush-protected -- vehicles designed to save the lives of American troops. Turkey wasn’t always this helpful. In 2003, the Turks refused permission for the 4th Infantry Division to enter Iraq through Turkey."
"Turkey’s Erdogan government has indicated that if the House of Representatives takes action on a non-binding resolution being pushed by Speaker Pelosi, Turkey might revoke our ability to use Incirlik as a waypoint for Iraq supplies."
"At issue is the non-binding resolution passed on October 10 by the House Foreign Affairs Committee that labels the 1915-1923 massacre of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire a genocide. Such resolutions can be passed by either or both houses of Congress and are not subject to presidential veto."
The Trash Dispatch recognizes Mr. Babbin as being very knowledgeable in these matters having once served as the United States Deputy Undersecretary of Defense. And applauds his efforts to draw attention to the criminal, and absolutely Treasonous actions of Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats.
He writes;
"On October 11, Pelosi said, “While that may have been a long time ago, genocide is taking place now in Darfur, it did within recent memory in Rwanda, so as long as there is genocide there is need to speak out against it.”
"But the resolution is gratuitous and Democrats’ timing suspicious. It’s gratuitous because, in 1981, President Reagan referred to the Armenian massacre as genocide in a proclamation commemorating the Nazi Holocaust."
"Why, if Pelosi is so committed to ending genocide, aren’t she and Senate Democrat leaders doing something about the ongoing genocide in Darfur or the massacres of protesters in Burma?"
"Speaker Pelosi said, “This isn't about the Erdogan government. This is about the Ottoman Empire." Baloney. "
And that is where the Trash Dispatch and Mr. Babbin differ in our opinions as he calls it "Baloney", and the Trash Dispatch calls it, Treason!
