Democrats: Ten Dollar Tax on Cigars!

Trash Dispatch:

The Captain's Quarters is reporting, "Democrats have decided to pass a 20,000% tax increase as part of their new fiscal program for America. The target -- this time -- is cigars, on which they plan to escalate the current federal nickel tax to $10 per stogie (via Professor Bainbridge):".

Some, in the Captain's comment forum, have argued that the $10 per stogie" tax which the Captain is blogging about, is an exaggeration. That it will in fact be something less than that. Nevertheless, the Trash Dispatch posted it's opinion to the Captain's Quarters stating;

"Sounds like it's time for another Tea Party." ~Trash Dispatch:

I don't know of course, if the Captain Quarters will post my comment. Or even if he might honor the Trash Dispatch with a visit. However, should he. Here is a link to the "Texas Toll Party" which has links to other State Toll Parties. Maybe if we could get them all together we could have a Revolutionary Toll Party?
