"A website featuring comments by, for and about "principled conservatism" is being investigated by the Canadian government, and could be fined or ordered shut down for some postings about Islam and homosexuality."

Question:
"How long before they come for You, and Your blog?"

And by "they", I mean. Whatever Government you happen to live under which,
for the Trash Dispatch, just happens to be the United States of America which,
isn't so United anymore.

While most of us "bloggers", would like to think of our blogs as being on the scale of the "New York Times", or of the "World Net Daily", or even of our own small "Hometown News Paper". Most of us *actually think, that our blogs are nothing more than the ramblings of a demented man (or woman, as the case may be), and that the Government would in No Way percieve "Our meager little blog", as any kind of a threat. And for the most part, that is true. However, the Real Truth, and the actual Fact of the matter, is that it is NOT the actions of our Government we need to fear.

For the government, *Has No Mind of It's Own*!

Remember? A government "of" the people, "by" the people, and "for" the people?

In Truth, therefore. The threat to our blogs, and/or, even to our Daily Free Speech, comes Not from the government, but from the *Special Interest Groups*, "by" whom, the government is controlled.

{Special Note: I think of the Trash Dispatch, as just that, "trash". (FUN trash, and sometimes even Good trash. But trash, nonetheless.) Yet, how long before Somebody, with Ties to some Powerful Special Interest Group, becomes "offended" by the Trash the I produce, Declares the Trash Dispatch as an Offense, a Producer of Hate, and a Threat to "their" agenda; and forces the U.S. Government to Shut Down the Trash Dispatch, and throw ME in some Dark Prison Hole, where I can never be found, or Heard from again?}
