Greg Chavez's invention the "Guardian Angel" - a device for extinguishing Christmas Tree Fires - takes the first prize of $1,000,000 from ABC's television event, "The American Inventor"!

Each year, 100's die in fires due to Christmas Tree lights shorting out, and sparking the dry bristles of the tree, to flame. Whole families are lost in such fires. Children are burned, sometimes to nonrecognition, and sometimes, to death.

Greg Chavez's invention the "Guardian Angel", is a "MUST HAVE" for any and ALL families who celebrate the birth of Christ with the traditional illuminated Christmas Tree.
