Ron Paul - Ron Paul - RON PAUL! - Who is this guy?

Trash Dispatch: "Ron Paul - Ron Paul - RON PAUL! Who is this guy?"

For months now, Texas Representative and Libertarian Presidential Candidate Ronald Ernest (Ron) Paul, -of the United States House of Representatives, Texas District 14 - has been Plastered all over the internet. Especially at websites like "youtube" and "Technorati". Indeed at Technorati, he has been in the Top Ten Searches, and Top Ten Tags, for what seems like an eternity.

Yet, before I start "dispatching trash" for which I may, or may not be sorry for. Allow me to preface this article by stating for the record that, sometimes words spoken even in jest, can be hurtful, harmful, and even injurious, when spoken without consideration. The Trash Dispatch will therefore, try to be as "politically Neutral" as possible when reporting on the Presidential Candidates. Although in consideration for it's readers, the Trash Dispatch makes no promises of neutrality as to us, "Trash, is Trash."

Nevertheless, and to continue. Presidential Candidate Ron Paul, reminds me of Texas Gubernatorial Candidate "Kinky Freedman", but without the humor. In the end, Texas voters decided "Kinky" was just a little "Too kinky", - with his radical ideas, and his comedic approach to the governorship - which translated at the polls as to big a Risk - and thereby Lost in his race for Governor of Texas. I don't know that this will be the case with Candidate Ron Paul, as there doesn't seem to be any humor involved with this man, whatsoever.

But I do know that, in Texas, voters were soon wishing they Had voted for Kinky Freedman, as now Texas State Governor Rick Perry, immediately retracted his campaign promises of Border Control, and sold the State of Texas down the river (both figuratively, and literally).

But again, and to give Ron Paul the benefit of the doubt. Let's check the facts!

"REPRESENTATIVE RONALD ERNEST 'RON' PAUL REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY RESPONSES TO CITIZENS ON ISSUES THROUGH THE 2006 NATIONAL POLITICAL AWARENESS TEST"

The above information comes by way of "Project Vote Smart", a non-profit, Non-partisan, organization dedicated to the questioning of any and All political candidates about their stances on issues facing Americans and then providing those answers (free) to the citizen voter with the hope that he (we) can then make an informed decision at the polling booth.

Yet, while "REPRESENTATIVE RONALD ERNEST 'RON' PAUL, did not respond to the 2006 NAPT. He had responded to an earlier 1996 National Political Awareness Test. To which, those answers, are provided below. Also below, is Ron Paul's latest "youtube" campaign video entitled "Stop Dreaming", which, was the catalyst for my doing the research to write this article as I keep seeing "Ron Paul Ron Paul" everywhere, and "Stop Dreaming" was the straw that broke the... Trash bag?

At any rate, and without further adue, ...behold!

Dispatch Note: Just as Texas Governor Rick Perry changed his mind (after being elected), so too Presidential Candidate Ronald Ernest (Ron) Paul, may have changed his mind on many of the issues he answered in the above questionnaire. But who knows since he would not answer the 2006 National Political Awareness Test. But then again, what does that matter, as Texas Governor Rick Perry has already shown us, that "Promises mean Nothing", and "None can be Trusted".

While I would ordinarily agree with the assertion that "minds change", Ron Paul is a little bit of a different type of bird. The man has been absolutely consistent in the application of his principles, and his actions in office are as close to 100% in accordance with the survey as is humanly possible. Over the course of about 20 years in Congress, that is beyond remarkable.

I'd say it's okay to disagree with his position on things, but there is absolutely no possible valid criticism of his sincerity and integrity. He's one of the very few in Washington that truly does say what he means and means what he says, and the voting record over 20 years backs this up quite clearly.

The Trash Dispatch was "not" in anyway attempting to criticize, nor discredit Ron Paul in anyway, shape, or form. Nevertheless, out of "all" the issues, "TRUST", is the biggest. And to that end, The Trash Dispatch will publish Ron Paul's voting record asap.

However, and in the interest of the American public, the Trash Dispatch "MUST", question why he did not answer the 2006 National Political Awareness Test?
