AMA seeks Addiction "tagging" to Control Video Gamers

Classify a person as "addicted", and you can "treat them" , "with Drugs" , and without Any respect for that persons own free will. And what is an addiction anyway, but that lack of anything Better to do? And what is the cure, but the substitution of one substance, for another? The substitution of one behavior, for another behavior. The substitution of what is "Determined by Doctors" to be socially unacceptable, for that which is socially acceptable.

Gaming, or Video Game playing, is now under fire from the AMA (American Medical Association) as "they" have determined, Video Game playing to be Dangerous to your health! And they are seeking to have "Gamers" who play video games for more than 2 hours a day classified as "Addicted". (No doubt for the purpose of creating a whole new line of Drugs for the treatment of said addiction.)

But what about "Baseball players? Football Players? And Basketball players? Will they get the same classification for playing a game for more than 2hrs? No, probably not. And for now, at least, the AMA has relaxed their "Obsession" with Video Gamers. At least, until they can gain support from their friends the "Psychiatrist"!

And may God help us all,
when they turn their attention to BLOGGERS???

{Note that I said "when", they turn their attention to bloggers. For what better way to control "Freedom of Speech", than to Tag it, as a Disease!}
