Jeff Bolten, Broadcasting "Live from Bagdad"


Texas native "Jeff Bolton", known by talk radio fans as the "Mayor of Commonsenseville", has been nationally recognized and honored for both his international groundbreaking talk radio broadcasts from Iraq, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka, and his national broadcasts from New York after 9-11, and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. In 2003 he was the first talk show host in America to broadcast full length talk shows from the Middle East war zones, and also completed the first ever live talk radio broadcasts at sea with the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson.

The Mayor of Commonsenseville, Jeff Bolton, will broadcast his show live from Iraq for two weeks beginning this Monday, February 26th.In 2003, Jeff was the first talk show host in America to do his show from Iraq and Afghanistan and he returns to Iraq now as more than 20,000 brave American soldiers begin a final surge to bring stability to the embattled country. Jeff is a proud Texan and was raised in Mesquite, Emory and Garland, Texas. After graduating from South Garland High School in 1982, Bolton attended Texas A&M for two years before tranferring to Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he earned a BFA in 1986. A proud husband and father, Jeff and his wife Blaine have been married for eighteen years and have two children: Evan, 12 and Rachel, 9.
